Just off the top of my head
This is what we must do before we put the house on the market, and I know there’s more that’s not coming to me in my state of overwhelmed.
Drywall in kitchen, drywall around i beam, insulate and panel the beadboard in the mudroom to be, shingle outside of mudroom, paint mudroom, in and out, storm windows off, wash all windows, refinish kitchen floor, build pantry, build kitchen desk, paint kitchen, crown mold kitchen, floor ante-room outside garage, replace garage door, clean out master bedroom, fix sheetrock around Private 1’s bedroom door, replace all interior hollow core doors, fix and paint front door, arrange office area, pack clutter not putting out but keeping, paint inside fireplace, paint surround of fireplace, hang front porch swing, plants for frong porch, replace mailbox post, sink in mudroom, counter and cabinets in mudroom, backsplash in kitchen, paint master bath, replace master bath shower curtain and rod, replace master bath lighting and fixtures, hang art, and, and, and, ohmygosh, I have to go to bed just thinking about it.
Thanks Mom and Dad, for being our crew. And expecting not much more than a lumpy mattress, and some food. Warmed, that yall brought.
WOW!!! I really feel for you. That’s A LOT. I’m sure your parents figure it’s worth helping since they are gaining their grandchildren close by in the end.
Your parents are so sweet. I’m once again, I’m jealous.

It’s too bad you’re not going to get to relax and enjoy how pretty it all is once you are all done. I hope you get a good price for it. I’m really handy with a trowel and a paintbrush after all these years married to the home renovator extraordinaire, and helping out with his mother’s once every year home improvement project. In fact the first time I ever stayed with them after we were engaged, I regrouted the entire kitchen. It would be fun to help you out. OH well.
